Coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) – New antibody test!
Information about the antibody test
The coronavirus has the world, Germany and Hesse firmly in its grip. The longer the pandemic lasts, the more people will have experienced the disease. It is suspected that many people have had an infection with the coronavirus without realising it. Studies suggest that immunity to the virus is subsequently present for a certain period of time1. Experts consider this to be very likely 2.
There are a large number of rapid tests available for detecting a disease that has already occurred, which often give false results, as they sometimes do not distinguish between conventional viruses and the new corona virus. Explicit warning is issued against these rapid tests! 3.
However, the newly developed antibody tests (ELISA)4 offer reliable proof of a past infection and thus a certain immunity. These are analysed in a certified laboratory.
We are pleased to offer you soon as one of the first in Wiesbaden such an antibody test in cooperation with the laboratory ZotzKlimas. The test requires the collection of a small amount of blood. The result is known after a few days.
