Cryolipolysis: effective fat reduction through cold treatment
The desire for beautiful body shapes is a social fact that has a place in our practice beyond moral judgments. Many people suffer from body shapes that they cannot "get rid of" despite numerous attempts at sport, diet and discipline that are not always harmless. With cryolipolysis, medical technology provides an option that - carefully applied and accompanied by advice - helps people to reduce fat deposits that are considered unattractive.

Who is the cryolipolysis procedure suitable for?
How does cryolipolysis work? Basics and active principle
The cryolipolysis technique is a proven and painless procedure in which fat cells die through targeted hypothermia and are removed by the body's own metabolism. Other body cells remain unaffected by the treatment.
By alternating cold and heat during the treatment, the fat-reducing effect on typical problem areas such as the stomach, hips, thighs and buttocks can be visibly increased. This body shaping method shows visible results after just a few applications, which can also be permanent.
Areas of application of cryolipolysis for body contouring
The cryolipolysis procedure can be used on a variety of areas on the body. These include the abdomen, hips, back, upper arms, buttocks, chin and chest area, knee area and thighs.
Cryolipolysis technology: innovative cold therapy for fat reduction
The fat deposit is sucked by vacuum pressure onto a special applicator, which reduces the fat cells in three thermally different phases. The temperatures are automatically adjusted to the thickness of the fat deposit to maximize the success of the treatment and minimize potential side effects.
Some fat cells are already eliminated during the treatment. The majority of fat reduction takes place over the following two to three weeks. The entire reduction process takes up to 12 weeks and is not reversible.
Cryolipolysis treatment procedure: step by step to fat reduction
Depending on the thickness of the fat deposits and the individual desired result, 1-4 treatments of 90 minutes each are required. The treatment should be carried out 4 weeks apart for each body part.

Frequently asked questions about cryolipolysis
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive method of fat reduction. It is based on the idea that fat cells react more sensitively to cold than the surrounding tissue. During the treatment, the target area is cooled, which leads to selective destruction of the fat cells while the surrounding tissue remains undamaged. The dead fat cells are then gradually broken down and excreted by the body.
Cryolipolysis is suitable for certain areas of the body, such as the stomach, hips, thighs, flanks and double chin.
The duration of a cryolipolysis treatment varies, but is usually between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the area to be treated. Several sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. The exact treatment plan depends on factors such as the amount of fatty tissue to be treated and the patient's individual goals.
